Monthly Under 1’s focused playgroup! This playgroup is focused on our younger children, with minimal setup and toys, as it’s all about parents and caregivers connecting with each other. Our under 1’s focused playgroup is a great opportunity to meet some fellow twin (& HOM) families in a safe environment.  Given this venue has lots of space, we are happy to welcome older siblings and children along. We have a dedicated outdoor fully fenced playground, indoor air conditioned hall with kitchen facilities and toilets.  Tea and coffee facilities are provided! Feel free to bring along some food to share.  Location: Nerang Uniting Church, 5 Nerang River Drive, Nerang Time: 9:30 to 11:30am - come along anytime in that period.   For the Health and Safety of all parties, please stay home if unwell.

We are so excited to announce that  Michelle from Parents2B (P2B) will be hosting an ONLINE Sleep and Settling Q&A on Tuesday 12th September 2023 at 6:30pm, exclusively for the GCMBA community. She will also be answering questions around food and solids! No matter whether you are an expectant parent wanting to be prepared, or a parent of multiples looking for some advice.... Come along, ask your burning questions and hear Michelle share her wisdom and knowledge on baby and toddler sleep and settling, introducing solids & the impacts of food. Michelle is a registered midwife, nurse, childbirth educator and infant sleep specialist. Barefoot Bowls  Helensvale Bowls Club (Discovery Drive Helensvale) Sunday, 10 September  14:00-16:00  All are welcome!  Cost is $10 per person to play, pay on the day. Children are welcome to participate also. Please stay home if you are not well. Sign in on the day is required with our QR code so as you are covered for insurance purposes. We are so excited to be able to now have another playgroup running each month. The first Monday of each month we have a playgroup for ALL ages at First Fruits Coffee at 1 Griffith way, Southport.  There's a fully enclosed playground with plenty of space & seating for those double prams.  Come and join other multiple parents and have a nice coffee or breakky and let the kids run around and let off some steam. It’s one of our biggest fundraisers for the year...  You don’t need to be a King (or Queen) on the tongs to help out... volunteers are needed on each shift to handle the money, serve customers, cook, manage stock, do the prep work and HAVE FUN!!  VOLUNTEERS NEEDED for our GCMBA Bunnings BBQ at Burleigh Waters Store on Sunday, 13th August. Let's Have Some Fun! GCMBA is super excited to invite you to our 2023 Multiple Birth Awareness Week Family Festival at KDV Sport, Carrara Join us for an afternoon of family fun and fantastic company.  Pack your own picnic or purchase food from the onsite cafe. Watch your children’s smiles grow are they are entertained by the the jumping castle, face painting, mini golf, playground area, ice-cream truck and more! There will also be lucky door prizes. This event is open to all multiple birth families for an afternoon of entertainment to celebrate all that is magical about being multiple birth families. Tickets are $10 per financial member family and $20 for non-member families - book yours now as numbers are limited!
