GCMBA 42nd Birthday Bash - NEW DATE! We invite you to bring a picnic lunch or snacks along to Country Paradise Parklands Adventure Playground at Nerang and enjoy an afternoon with other multiple families. There is plenty of parking, lots of activities for the kids, great lucky door prizes to be won, and a few other things that will be revealed soon. Just BYO your food, picnic rug, a drink, scooters and families and we will provide the cake  Please book your (free) tickets so we have an idea of numbers.  Bring grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins along too! We have reserved a spot under the sheltered area, near the Adventure Playground.  There are BBQs available for use and toilets available.

She will give tips on breastfeeding, increasing milk supply and all things in between. She is highly experienced and you may have met her if you had your children at Pindara Hospital. Fussy Eaters Zoom Workshop As we all know meal time can be quite traumatic for some parents, where we struggle to find what to cook, what our children will eat, lots of mess, are they getting the right foods, foods thrown around and sometimes lots of tears!!! So GCMBA have invited Nicole Brown-Shepherd a Paediatric dietician from Tiny Tots Paediatrics in Tugun to speak to our community on Tuesday 25th October at 6.30pm. This talk will be all about dealing with fussy toddlers, solids, starting solids, allergies and going through the stages of food from birth-toddlers. This is a 45 minute talk with time for questions at the end. Alana from My strong little body is going to do a talk and leave time for a Q&A on the importance of Tummy Time, helping to build strong bodies for newborns, and how to avoid plagio cephaly in newborns. This zoom is mostly focused on parents to be and parents with newborns up until walking. Alana is a physiotherapist and author of My strong little body. Monthly Under 1’s focused playgroup! This playgroup is on the 3rd Thursday of every month,runbyourwonderful volunteer Neerissa. It is focused on our younger children, with minimal setup and toys, as it’s all about parents and caregivers connecting with each other. Our under 1’s focused playgroup is a great opportunity to meet some fellow twin (& HOM) families in a safe environment.  Given this venue has lots of space, we are happy to welcome older siblings and children along. We have a dedicated outdoor fully fenced playground, indoor air conditioned hall with kitchen facilities and toilets.  Tea and coffee facilities are provided! Feel free to bring along some food to share.  Location: Nerang Uniting Church, 5 Nerang River Drive, Nerang Time: 9:30 to 11:30am - come along anytime in that period.    For everyone's health and safety, please stay home if unwell.

Getting the gang back together for a SAM's Catch-up! Come and join GCMBA School Aged Multiple families for an afternoon around the lake at HOTA.   A nice relaxing way to finish off the school holidays and a get together for the kids. Bring a picnic blanket, some nibbles (if you like), scooters, bikes, swimmers and yourselves. GCMBA is super excited to invite you to our 2022 Multiple Birth Awareness Week Family Festival. Bring your picnic rug and join us for an exclusive afternoon of live music, children’s entertainment and fantastic company. Pack your own picnic or purchase food from one of the onsite Food Trucks. Watch your children’s smiles grow are they are entertained my our children's entertainer, baby play arena, jumping castles and much more. This event is open to all multiple birth families and their supporters.... so bring along the grandparents, neighbors, school friends and team-mates for an afternoon of FREE entertainment to celebrate all that is magical about being multiple birth families. Making Rainbows is a music and sensory based class for infants and children. Through music, movement, dance and a variety of sensory based activities, your child will develop skills in a relaxed and fun atmosphere. The 9:30am session is for toddlers, turbos and any child who is hop, skipping and jumping into Christmas  The 11:00am session is for babies crawling, rolling, sitting or laying their way into the festivities   A catered light morning tea will be available for parents between sessions (from 10:15-10:45).  Older siblings are also welcome to attend the class; each child attending must have a ticket.  Grandparents/helpers are welcome to attend/assist.  Sensory classes generally range between $15-$20 per child.  GCMBA financial members are $5 per child per class and non financial members are $7.50 per child per class.  Maximum of 20 children per class.  Bookings are essential.
