We have shaken up our "Southport Playgroup" and will now be running a roving Monday Meet-up Playgroup. Each month we will try a new playground on the GC. This month we are meeting at - *Cafe 63 at Coomera Westfields* This hosts a cafe with a large play area - big kids & little kids & water play areas. Please come along & join us for a catch up, chat & coffee while the kids play & let off steam, everyone is welcome. GCMBA's Father's Day Family Celebration  Come and join us to celebrate the Dads, Fathers, Pops, Grandads...whatever you call them, in your lives! Our playgroup is a great opportunity to meet some fellow twin (& HOM) families in a safe environment. We have a dedicated outdoor fully fenced playground, indoor air conditioned hall with kitchen facilities and toilets. Tea and coffee facilities are provided! Feel free to bring along some food to share. Location: Nerang Uniting Church, 5 Nerang River Drive, Nerang Time: 9:30 to 11:30am - come along anytime in that period. Michelle from Parents2B (P2B) will be hosting an ONLINE Sleep and Settling Q&A, exclusively for the GCMBA community. She will also be answering questions around food and solids. No matter whether you are an expectant parent wanting to be prepared, or a parent of multiples looking for some advice.... Come along, ask your burning questions and hear Michelle share her wisdom and knowledge. Michelle is a registered midwife, nurse, childbirth educator and infant sleep specialist. This session is an opportunity for you to get information about pregnancy, birth and 'what to do after' from other multiple parents who have been there and done that. Take the opportunity to meet your future community of other expectant parents, and learn about how Gold Coast Multiple Birth Association can support you and your family. In honour of GCMBA being picked to receive Local Matters tokens for the month of July at Nobby's Beach Grill'd, we have decided to have a meet up for lunch on Friday July 5th at 11:30am. We are very excited to announce our first....... BABIES & KIDS CLOTHES SWAP EVENT. Come and fill a bag of kids clothes for $10 a bag ($15 for non- financial members & community) This is the perfect opportunity to stock up on clothes for Winter! (standard enviro bags please -  32cm W x 35cm H x 22cm) Event will be at Mudgeeraba Old Post Office - 57 Railway street, Mudgeeraba 9:30-1:30pm CASH & CARD WELCOME. All community members welcome - so please share event & bring your friends. All money raised goes back into our GCMBA community. We are currently taking donations of babies & kid clothes, please contact Alison Jansen for drop off details. Please note that clothing donations will not be taken on the day of the event.
