Christmas time is just around the corner and we would like to invite you to celebrate the year with Gold Coast Multiple Birth Assoc. This year we are holding our Christmas Party at The Historic Rivermill, with exclusive use of The Barn for GCMBA attendees. Sunday, 7 December 2025 | 10:30am - 12:30pm | Free event for financial members. The Barn offers a unique and private environment (nestled beside the cafe) for an event that will combine fun, adventure, and a touch of nature. The Barn is a large indoor area - with plenty of room to play as well as an area for the little kids to sit on blankets and hang out.  Our Historic Rivermill Christmas experience will include, Feeding the farm animals - get up close and personal with the friendly alpacas & goats, a delightful hands-on experience for children to connect with these gentle animals in the beauty of natural surroundings. Face painting - children can choose from a variety of designs to transform into their favourite animal, character, or pattern, making the celebration even more magical and memorable. Jumping Castle - exclusive play, just for our party guests! Visit from Santa - as always SANTA will be visiting, so please bring a wrapped book for your little ones to receive a gift from Santa. Party Food - GCMBA will be providing morning tea (party food) & fruit platters for the kids. Please BYO drink bottles.    Please note - as this is an open area (water on the property) - all children will need to be supervised by their parents. Grill'd lunch Meet up In honour of GCMBA being picked to receive Local Matters tokens for the month of AUGUST at Nobby's Beach Grill'd, we have decided to have a meet up for lunch on Sunday 17th August at 11am Come along with the family, enjoy a burger, vote for GCMBA and have a lovely lunch with other multiple families from our community. This session is an opportunity for you to get information about pregnancy, birth and 'what to do after' from other multiple parents who have been there and done that. Take the opportunity to meet your future community of other expectant parents, and learn about how Gold Coast Multiple Birth Association can support you and your family. Michelle from Parents2B (P2B) will be hosting an ONLINE Sleep and Settling Q&A, exclusively for the GCMBA community. She will also be answering questions around food and solids. No matter whether you are an expectant parent wanting to be prepared, or a parent of multiples looking for some advice.... Come along, ask your burning questions and hear Michelle share her wisdom and knowledge. Michelle is a registered midwife, nurse, childbirth educator and infant sleep specialist. We are very excited to announce our second annual....... BABIES & KIDS PRELOVED CLOTHES MARKET. Come and fill a bag of kids clothes for $15 a bag ($20 for non- financial members & community) This is the perfect opportunity to stock up on clothes for Winter! (standard enviro bags please -  32cm W x 35cm H x 22cm) Event will be at Varsity Lakes Comunity & Resource Centre - 20 Mattocks road, Varsity lakes 9:30-12:30pm CASH & CARD WELCOME. All community members welcome - so please share event & bring your friends. All money raised goes back into our GCMBA community. We are currently taking donations of babies & kid clothes, please contact Alison Jansen for drop off details. Please note that clothing donations will not be taken on the day of the event.   FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS Can anyone attend and buy the clothes? YES - the event is open to everyone. GCMBA financial members will get a discounted price of $15 per bag and all other community members will be charged at $20 per bag. Can I fill any size bag for $15-$20? NO - bags are standard size environment bags - eg Woollies or Coles bags (32cm W x 35cm H x 22cm) Please bring your own bag! Any larger size bags will illicit a higher price. Can I bring clothes on the day to swap? No - unfortunately we will not be taking any clothes on the day of the event. If you would like to donate some clothes beforehand please contact Al Jansen Are the clothes good quality? YES - thank you to the kind donations of our members and the community we have a a large supply of near new and new-to-you clothes. All clothes have been checked by our amazing volunteers before the day. I cant make it on the day, can I buy some clothes at another time?
